What does it mean when you talk to God and all you hear is silence?
Actually, contrary to what we think it's sort of an honor.
Silence is God's first language.
Think about it...before he created there was silence. So, when God is silent He is taking you to His very heart. Without words, the love, peace, joy are heightened.
Sitting in silence with God is a most awesome thing! So, the next time you start feeling disappointed you can't hear God, cheer up and take time to sit in silence with God. Don't talk or ask anything. Just sit with.
